How can you use foils for hair highlights

Researched and developed in New Zealand, Paper Not Foil is the world’s first reusable and degradable eco alternative to hair foils and plastic wraps.

After discovering that NZ salons were using enough tin foil to wrap the earth around once every year, founder Amanda Buckingham decided to look for a more sustainable approach to color application in her own salon.

With only 10% of aluminum waste being recycled, Paper Not Foil offers a more environmentally friendly option for holistic hairstylists.

Zero Waste Manufacturing

Paper Not Foil is transformed from 100% tree-free, upcycled construction waste into a strong, thermal conducive material that can be used again and again.

Unlike aluminum, Paper uses 96% less energy during production and manufacturing.

NO water is used in making them—that makes Paper Not Foil a fully sustainable and energy efficient alternative to all other methods of foiling in the hairdressing industry.
